Preparing the Chicken Wings
Start by selecting fresh chicken wings and patting them dry with paper towels. For added flavor, season the wings with your favorite spices—paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper work well. To achieve extra crispiness, lightly coat the wings with a bit of cooking spray or a thin layer of oil.
Place the wings in one of the baskets. You can prepare multiple batches if needed, but the Ninja DoubleStack XL’s large capacity allows you to cook up to four foods simultaneously, which is perfect for feeding a crowd.
Cooking with the Ninja DoubleStack XL
Set the air fryer to the ‘Air Fry’ function at 400°F. Use the built-in smart doneness control and thermometer for perfect crispiness. Place the seasoned wings in one of the baskets and insert it into the fryer. If cooking other summer favorites like vegetables or fries, load them into the second basket or use the included crisper plates for different foods.
Cook for about 25-30 minutes, flipping the wings halfway through to ensure even crisping. Thanks to the independent control of each basket, you can prep multiple dishes at once without sacrificing quality or flavor.
Serving and Tips for Poolside Enjoyment
Once cooked, carefully remove the wings and let them rest for a few minutes. Serve hot with your favorite summer dips like ranch, blue cheese, or a tangy BBQ sauce. For an extra touch, sprinkle with chopped herbs or a squeeze of lemon.
Pro tip: Use the dehydrate function in the Ninja Air Fryer to prepare crispy vegetable chips or fruit slices for a healthy poolside snack. Clean the baskets and accessories easily after cooking to keep your setup ready for the next round of summer bites.
